Viewtiful Joe is one of those franchises that the gaming world just needs. If it weren’t for games like this, we might as well give up. It’s 2D, really hard, and made for people like us who don’t particularly relish the prospect of yet another licensed 3D ‘action’ game.
And as you’ll be aware, Capcom’s platform/shooter/fighter is coming to the PSP, the latest screenshots of which are presented to the right of these very words.
As ever, the world of Viewtiful Joe is lurid and...well, weird, promising gaming adventure (from right to left – as it should be) across 16 all-new levels. The game is due to ship in 2006 - March in Japan and the US, and expected slightly later in the UK.

i dunno if the coversion to pal causes somethign wierd to happen.... but most side scrollers go left to right, no?

I seriously cannot wait for this, Viewtiful Joe is awesome and is totally different to any other game out there.
