Empire Interactive has released a demo of Starship Troopers, the game based on the movie that showed showering future girls, sometime in the late 1990s, incongruously enough.
A first-person shooter, Starship Troopers is developed by Strangelite Studios in Runcorn, UK and takes its lead from the movie - showering girls, hopefully - interspersed with CG aliens being blown up.
So, will we get to see any tits in the game? We contacted Empire for a statement this morning: “If you download the demo you'll get over 15 minutes full on playable action”, we were told by a spokesman. “Instead of killing bugs with a newspaper, you can now do it with a big nuclear gun. Do not try this at home kids,” he continued, clearly skirting our question. We pressed the issue. “Look, there are no tits in Starship Troopers, but there are massive great big metal alien bugs, which are pretty much the next best thing in a videogame.”
Fair enough. You can download the demo by
