New Sonic Confirmed for TGS – Trumpet-blowers in for fall?
Title revealed – Playable within days…
SPOnG can reveal that a new Sonic game will be playable at the Tokyo Game Show this year, though it might not be the next-generation outing touted by some publications of late.
A new Sonic game will be playable on 16th September, we have been informed by a historically-reliable source, carrying the title Sonic Riders. At this point, only a GameCube version has been confirmed to us, though at this stage we’re not discounting other platforms being announced.
And that’s about all we have on this right now. Sonic Riders, confirmed for GameCube and playable in nine days time.
Check back for updates on the 16th, if not before.

Sonic R was ace when it was released on the Saturn. That soundtrack kicked arse too.

It's not everyday we get another Sonic game and for the humble GC no less. GC gamers will take what they can get while titles are still on shelves.
A driving game would be nice and if that's the case or not I hope Sega do it justice.
