EA Rubbishes IGN NBA Deal Piece
Electronic Arts has debunked claims that it sought an exclusive licensing deal with the NBA, following reports last month stating that the basketball association had declined an offer from the games firm.

The report surfaced on IGN in late December, with the site claiming EA had moved to scoop rights to NBA games much as it had with its dealing with the NFL. The piece now appears to be little more than guesswork on the part of the site, which has seen an increasing level of criticism of late.

At the time of going to press, the NBA remains somewhat bemused, offering no clarification, though EA has made it clear to several sources no exclusivity offer was made.

However, it would say that...

We jest of course. And where would the NBA be without all those terrible games carrying its iconic logo?

Beside HYER-REVIEWS, now IGN has HYPER-NEWS
Not to wonder, lately IGN has a bias problem in some of theyr departments.

Ok ok, may be EA had an information leak, but they dont recognize it, couse is not good for them to be seen as a monopoly,
EA will tell the true only at the time they have already bought the license.
