As everyone know, the main problems facing the inactive videogame enthusiast community is pie, with cake coming in a close second. You see, it’s an issue. Gamers sit about a lot. When not sitting totally still, with only the slightest detectable thumb wiggle vouching for life signs, they’re slouching to the fridge to indulge in some high fat snacking.
You see folks, and here’s the killer: Not doing very much aside from eating bad food makes you fat. It’s a problem we all face and luckily, one Sony Computer Entertainment Europe plans to address, announcing EyeToy: Kinetic this morning.
The latest piece of software for the motion-sensing webcam jobbie, EyeToy: Kinetic will utilise a wider view field showing the player’s whole body in frame. Gym favourites such as Tai Kwon Do, Modern Dance, Kick Boxing, Aerobics and Karate are there to get your blood pumping with a set of other, slightly more enlightened choices, such as concentration and flexibility, taking inspirations from Yoga and Tai Chi.
The title, so-developed with Nike Motionworks, also offers regimes targeted at toning specific muscle groups.
