SPOnG feels somewhat guilty today as it’s way past lunchtime and we haven’t published a single piece of news about Outrun 2, clearly unacceptable.
However, it seems we can rectify this situation, bringing you the latest grabs from the all new coin-operated version of Outrun 2: Special Tours. Oh yeah!
The game comprises fifteen completely reworked levels, all of which push the Xbox-based Chihiro board to its limits. Special Tours is a massive step up in visual quality from the original, perhaps boasting the most lavish incidental graphicalness ever seen in an arcade racer.
SP also boasts a fresh selection of cars, everything from Sumo’s snazzy Xbox offering in fact, as well as a selection of new music, adjustable volume, a new interface and full Internet ranking for Outrun, Time Attack and Heart Attack modes.
And in Europe, will be housed in a large and rather impressive yellow deluxe cabinet.
