Gran Turismo 4 and Killzone get PAL release dates

Sony's killer apps cue up

Posted by Staff
If the hype is anything to go by, Killzone and Gran Turismo 4 are set to be two of Sony’s most important titles for the coming months. Now we can synchronise watches and diarise for their respective releases.

Killzone, trying to burst from the shadow of Halo 2, will be released a little later - 1st December. And GT4’s release date seems finally to have stopped skidding off into the distance, having shed its online mode; and after dealing with the apparently rather complicated localisation process, should be ready for release on the 23rd February.

As ever, there’s still enough time for things to change between now and then. And judging from current trends, it wouldn’t be a huge surprise to see those games surface illegally ahead of their official launches anyway. We’ll be keeping a close eye on both these crucial PS2 titles, and if anything exciting happens, we’ll be sure to keep you in the loop.

After all the times when avatars were wanted by forum suggestions and now some people don't have them?

Some people don't appreciate the work that SPOnG do!

No way. I just watched those crazy but cool Mythbusters guys Adam and Jamie on Discovery and they proved that GT4 wasn't a myth, but the killer cockroaches that mutated after being fed Burger King fries were a myth - sort of.
