PlayStation announcement – A massive let down
Psychonauts is revealed. Hold the fro… Oh, forget it.
Following on from yesterday’s ‘shocking’ news pledge, the truth emerged last night via IGN.
So ensure you’re sitting down before you read the following: Psychonauts will be released for the PlayStation! Yes, that’s right, a game, formerly an Xbox exclusive, will now also see release on another platform that isn’t, yes, isn’t the Xbox.
In fairness, the game is as promising as anything on the go right now, with lead developer Tim Schafer of Monkey Island fame promising a seamless blend of platform, puzzle and fun.
Hardly earth-shattering though…

Well, there aren't really gonna be any more big PS2 annoucements really, apart from the next price drop maybe, which is long way off.
(Unless they decide to release MGS3 in the UK next week of course)
All the big Sony news now will be PSP/PS3.

i kinda knew it would be a let down.. the way you lot hyped it up. I think there will be interesting announvements to come... and ps2 still has alot of life in it as there are plenty of great games either out or coming soon right now...

a PS2 psychonauts is just gonna suck ass in terms of graphics, sound, and loading. On the other hand it seems perfect for the PSP. The graphics would look better on the smaller screen and if they tweaked the save option it seems like something I would want to play on the road. I always like Day of the Tentacle and other Scheafer games on my laptop why not this one Sony?
