The game formerly known as Snowblind, formerly known as Deus Ex: Clan Wars, is now formally called Project: Snowblind. The Crystal Dynamics developed, Eidos-published title deserved its early relationship with the Deus Ex name by virtue of a near-future setting, loads of big guns and an array of cyborg type gadgetry; although it’s not actually a direct spin-off of the popular FPS RPG fusion.
As professed by the screenshots, Snowblind will also feature lots of explosions: which is great. There is definitely a cross-over between the type of people who play FPS titles and the type of people who enjoy lots of explosions. But if explosions alone aren’t enough to tempt gamers, then the option for 16 player multiplayer mayhem on PS2, PC and Xbox may be.
Snowblind’s due out this winter. In the meantime, cast your eye over these screens.
