Special Metal Gear Sees Special Things in Special Edition

As everyone who spends too much time and money buying, or simply coveting weird Japanese toys and the like should know, it's rather difficult to find anything of a standard nature. If something is of limited production, it’s bound to be special: and the big and exciting Solid Snake’s Special Package is no exception.
Launching simultaneously with the usual version, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater: Limited Edition features all kinds of special goodies, including the full game of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, two special booklets, a special video DVD and a special 1/144 scale display model of Snake himself!
Right now, the Special Package is destined for the shores of Japan only, (and is about twice the price of the standard game) though Konami has been known to dole out the quirky goodness in the West too, so there is hope, our dairy-smelling friends!
We have also learned that shareholders of Konami will be getting this (or an alternative special edition) pack gratis, so if your bulging videogames portfolio holds some Konami stock, you’re in!

Very nice for MGS fans. I love these special items, and it would be nice if we got them too. Slim chance of that though, I don't think we've had such an offer since PSone MGS came out in the UK/EU.
