GBA Wario Ware 2 swaps D-pad for motion sensor
Very scant information was available when Mawaru Made In Wario was first announced for the GBA last week, other than it was a sequel to the much-loved Wario Ware Inc. mini-game extravaganza. It has now been revealed that, much like other titles in its family, Mawaru Made In Wario will be packed with a plethora of miniature entertainments: 200 of them to be precise.

More surprising is the news that Wario Ware 2 can be played without actually using the GBA’s controls. In a similar vein to Kirby Tilt’n’Tumble, the game cartridge itself will contain a motion-sensing device: so completing levels will involve tilting, jolting and shaking the GBA accordingly.

Here’s the Japanese promotional flyer for your perusal – make of it what you will. The game itself is due for release in October: we should have more information regarding the precise content of the mini-games prior to that date.

aaah yes, playing kirby on the underground brings back memories ...of when I had a job. :'(

seriously, it was good fun, tilting was fine, although I cocked up a few times because you had to flick the GB up to make kirby jump and I used to try and do it covertly. duuh.

All sounds weird and wonderful. I'm sure we'll understand more when the game is out. Nice to see something else new, just hope it works and plays okay.
