It's been a rotten year for the fans of Leeds United. Inept displays on the pitch throughout the 2003-2004 season, a period with Peter Reid as manager, questionable loan signings and, since relegation a few weeks back, the gradual erosion of highly-paid talent from the changing room. Times are hard at Elland Road, and that's a fact.
So what better time for Codemasters to remind everyone that Rothwell, West Yorkshire's (former) favourite son has joined the whites' bitterest rivals? It is with no little degree of glee that Codies presented us this morning with a virtual Alan Smith, wearing the red of Manchester United, along with a few other favourites for Leeds supporters to curse at. Oh dear.
Codemasters Club Football 2005 range of games is coming to PC, PS2 and Xbox this October, Leeds United not included.
