GBA Wireless Freed From Nintendo Cynicism

Bundle bond removed in Japan.

Posted by Staff
When Nintendo announced that it would release a wireless adapter for Game Boy Advance only as part of one of various bundles, many gamers were outraged.

It seemed a cynical move, designed at forcing consumers to buy games they may not have wanted, with the firm at no point offering an explanation why no stand-alone product was offered.

The situation has now been resolved, with Nintendo Japan announcing a 2,000 yen (just under £10) version, due to hit Japanese retail in July.

A global roll-out of the Wireless Adapter is now expected. We’ll keep you updated.

Good news. Those bleedin cables are annoying. Nice to see Nintendo are listening.

No about that futuristic Waverace game. How about a DS release, since we never got it properly on N64?

This is sort of a moot point since the DS is coming out shortly.

This is a good chance for collectors to go ahead and buy their 1st GBA SP... and for those of us who just like to buy Nintendo stuff, sounds awsome.
