SEGA AM2 Reveals Headshot Frenzy
Sega’s AM2 has revealed what may well be the final game to carry the illustrious Suzuki-spawned development studio logo, announcing Ghost Squad for the Xbox-based Chihiro arcade board.

The game is a two-player lightgun affair, equipped with large semi-automatic machine guns akin to those employed on LA Machineguns, although it is believed that the player will hold the unit in hand using a lead, as opposed to having the gun fixed to the cabinet.

The gameplay details revealed are a bleak popularity indicator of what has become shooting gamers’ favourite occupation, the headshot. The more headshots one performs, the more shots your gun is able to release.

The gun begins as standard in semi-auto mode, then progresses to firing a burst of three bullets, with ten noggin-busters unleashing fully-automatic mode.

All sounds like good wholesome family entertainment. With the game hitting Chihiro, now is the time to start speculating on the possibility of an Xbox version, which may or may not be planned...

Hey this sounds cool. Enjoyed HotD2 and L.A Machineguns a lot. Any chance to blow open more skulls is cool in my book.
