Capcom: Onimusha to see Seventh Game This Fiscal!

Franchise power as hack-‘em-up breaks record.

Posted by Staff
Capcom has announced that it will be bringing out another game in the Onimusha series within this financial year, surely smashing all franchise sequel records to date.

Incredibly, since the series was spawned back in 2001, seven titles have been announced, with the sixth, Onimusha 3: Demon Siege, hitting the UK in July.

Little is known about the just-announced game, other than it will ship before Easter in 2005, doubtlessly Capcom’s last chance to release a final title in the series for current consoles.

We’ll bring you updates when we know more.

8th game ? I thought there were just the 3, plus Blade Warriors/Buraiden.

Don't forget Onimusha Tactics on GBA.

That's still only 5 games, 6 if you count Genma Onimusha as a seperate game.

Someoen needs to go back to school and learn basic math....

The titles are in order of release....

Onimusha: Warlords - PS2
Genma Onimusha - Xbox (basically a remixed ver.)
Onimusha 2: Samurai's Destiny
Onimusha: Blade Warriors - PS2 (fighting game)
Onimusha 3: Demon Siege

So where the hell do you gusy get 7 ? I am counting the Xbox remix of part one and there is only 5. Not to mention there were no other games released in the series...none. So where do you get 7 ?
