If Id and Activison are to be believed with regards to their latest release schedule, Doom 3 should be blasting onto PC's at some point this summer. With Valve and Vivendi indicating a similar release date for Half-Life 2, and THQ’s S.T.A.L.K.E.R. following in September, it will be an exciting few months for virtual psychopaths.
In fact, it would be advisable for the FPS hardcore to get on the phone to Lunn Poly right now and cancel that summer holiday. The cash would be better spent on some high-quality blackout blinds, an enormous tub of ice-cream and a copy of each of these games. Plus some Elastoplast for those blistered trigger fingers!
