Bang, Bang Clap! Donkey Konga 2!
Nintendo of Japan has announced an add-on disc for the acclaimed (and much imported) drumming nonsense game Donkey Konga, carrying the thrilling title Donkey Konga 2!

Two versions of DK2 will be released, a stand-alone add-on disc, and a full package containing a set of drums, albeit in Japan only for now.

At this point in time, no definite release date has been assigned to the original Donkey Konga anywhere in the west, though the game is a cert, as it underpins Nintendo's untested, risky and somewhat courageous shift towards incorporating big plastic things into mainstream gaming.

At least Taiko no Tetsujin is getting a western release now tho'.
Need an alternative to all the J-pop and Beethoven. :)

DK sounds cool, but I dunno about all the clapping buisness.

This is a very niche kind of game. Samba de Amigo was one thing, but this is kind of strange. Time could be spent, on developing something more interesting that everyone will play. I won't be buying this.

The clapping monkeys bit makes me think of Close Encounters. Any alien abductions in this game?
