Warhammer - been around a while, gonna be around for a while longer.

Getting all excited about the soon-come Unreal Tournament 2004, are you? Or are you not too bothered? If you're leaning towards the latter, you may be one of the small (compared to Unreal) but enthusiastic group of Warhammer fans. And if this is the case, you'll be hankering after a glimpse of the first screens to be released from the upcoming Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War, due for PC this September. Let us soothe your troubled brow: thank developer Relic Entertainment and publisher THQ, not us.

Relic sure do look like they're doing a mighty fine job with this-that last Warhamer outing was a bit dull, this looks a lot better and its still early days.

Firewarrior? Yeah, twas a bit yawn. Much too repetitive and, for the Warhammer uninitiated, like me, a bit confusing. I thought I was playing on the side of the humans. Imagine my horror when I realised I was fighting for filthy commy alien scum.

This is true.

I was hoping for a WH40K mega-blast, but there were no Orks in it! Inventing a race for a game is bad when there are much more interesting ones in the table top game.

Even Space Hulk got that bit right!
