In a recent interview, Capcom’s lead producer for the wonderful-looking Killer 7, Hiroyuki Kobayashi, has stated that the game will hit Japan simultaneously for both PlayStation 2 and GameCube, with the Nintendo machine now seeing no period of exclusivity in the region.
However, Killer 7 will still be available first for the GameCube in both Europe and North America.
In other news, Kobayashi-san revealed that the main game in Killer 7 lasts around six hours if hammered through from start to finish. Worry not, however, as he also stated that there are a total of six optional scenarios, adding another 16 hours of play.
Killer 7 is still a frustratingly illusive title, with little known as to what the game entails. There’s a lot of killing, that much is clear, and a certain amount of blood, so that’s a good start.
We are expecting more from Capcom in the not too distant future, including an explanation of gameplay and a batch of fresh screens – stay tuned.
