Europe feels the Payne

Rockstar handheld shooter set for March.

Posted by Staff
It has recently been announced that the first handheld equivalent of Rockstar's Matrix-style shooter Max Payne is to launch in Europe on March 19. The GBA third-person shooter is developed by Mobius Entertainment and will most likely retail for just under 30 of your British pounds.

On this occasion Max Payne will be presented in isometric 2D form, though cut-scenes, in-game narration and the infamous bullet-time technique will remain. Rockstar is also promising 12 levels of gameplay and a multitude of weapons to boot.

And that's it.

We can hardly wait, but until then, take a look at these shots.

Max Payne on console was an OK game, but it could've been better. Not sure how this one will turn out...

I can confidently predict that this Max Payne game will absolutely definitiely will turn out the same as the other one, if not better.

Unless it's worse of course, which is a definite possibility.

Dude, you speak the truth all the time!

I think noone will notice bullet time, they'll just think their GBA has slowed down to a crawl.

I think that maybe, in this game, that bullet time will not pay such an important role as it has done in the PC and PS2 versions of Max Payne.

It would be much harder to do convincingly in isometric point of view.
