According to several reports springing up today, Metroid Prime 2 will not see a release on GameCube, making its way instead to GameCube 2.
This is simply not the case.
In development at Retro Studios, now a wholly owned subsidiary of Nintendo, the game, based around the critically acclaimed engine of the original, is in an advanced state and will see a release for GameCube in time for Christmas.
So fear not.
