With the evolutionary development process of games such as the Pro Evolution Soccer series, it won’t come as much of a surprise to most that the next instalment is already well underway – and by heck, it’s certainly sounding like it’s going to bring us the epitome of holy footballing joy.
As is always the case with the series, what we will see as Pro Evolution Soccer 4 is currently under development as Winning Eleven over at Konami’s Japanese HQ - in this instance in its eighth incarnation. What has been divulged so far is that the game will feature the obligatory roster of expanded Master League options, more clubs and even more accurate player stats and physics. But of utmost importance is the fact that the series will be making its debut on the ‘Net. So, come the yuletide festivities of next year, we’ll all be able to show off our highly refined PES skills online – and that, in all honesty, is quite possibly the best thing ever.
