Double Dash!! Double Details

Two weeks before Mario Kart: Double Dash!! is due to hit the UK, Nintendo has released an official line-up of the tracks and characters to be included in the game.

As we already know, racers are to pair up for the series’ third outing - here’s a rundown of who will be racing with whom:

Mario and Luigi
Diddy Kong and Donkey Kong
Daisy and Peach
Paratroopa and Koopa
Baby Mario and Baby Luigi
Yoshi and Birdo
Bowser and Bowser Jr
Waluigi and Wario

Note that Toad, a Mario Kart favourite, is no longer a competitor and that Baby Luigi makes his first appearance in his place.

Mushroom Cup:
Luigi Circuit
Peach Beach
Baby Park
Dry Dry Desert

Flower Cup:
Mushroom Bridge
Mario Circuit
Daisy Cruiser
Waluigi Stadium

Star Cup:
Sherbet Land
Mushroom City
Yoshi Circuit
DK Mountain

So that’s at least 12 circuits, but we wouldn’t be surprised to see the Special Cup tournament rear its head again with an additional four tracks. We’ll just have to wait and see. In the meantime, get your pre-orders in.
