It would seem that someone over at Factor 5 has loose lips, as it emerges that PilotWings for GameCube will bypass the system, instead heading for the as-yet unnamed GameCube 2.
According to reports surfacing this week, which seemingly stem from the US-based developer, various milestones in the development of PilotWings were not met, meaning that the game has been shunted back to sometime in 2005.
This has been seen by Nintendo as being too late in the lifecycle of the GameCube platform, with the Kyoto giant seeming to prefer to add PilotWings to its launch line-up for its next machine, already rumoured to include Donkey Kong and Mario 128.
We’ll keep a close eye out for any developments, as well as continuing the hunt for the GBA port of the SNES classic, and of course, we'll keep you fully updated with any breaking news.
