GBA F-Zero sequel confirmed! Fresh details inside
At its long-awaited Kyoto press conference yesterday, Nintendo Japan announced a sequel to the acclaimed F-Zero GBA SNES port.

The game will be based around the F-Zero anime series, currently showing in Japan, and will be developed by the team responsible for first outing on the system.

The sequel will feature four main game modes - Grand Prix, Story, Time Attack and Upgrade. Upgrade is described as a detailed shop and tune experience, in which players spend the money won in races on new cars, upgrades, bribes and so on.

The 'will it, won’t it hit Europe?' e-Reader will also unlock extra goodies, including tracks, cars and the like.

Expect the as yet untitled GBA sequel to hit Japan early next year, with the rest of the world to see a release by summer 2004.
