At a press briefing held in Tokyo yesterday, Sega Japan showed what will be coming from its Sega Ages stable in the next few months. And in some of the best news since, well, the last Sega Ages titles were shown, Afterburner was announced for PlayStation 2!
The list of upcoming titles is as follows:
Sega Ages: Afterburner (PS2) - TBA 2004
Sega Ages: Columns (PS2) - TBA 2004
Sega Ages: Decathlete (PS2) - TBA 2004
Sega Ages: Gain Ground (PS2) - TBA 2004
Sega Ages: OutRun (PS2) - TBA 2004
Sega Ages: Virtua Racing (PS2) - TBA 2004
As you can see, Outrun now joins the fray, though annoyingly Virtua Racing, a remake of the world’s first ever 3D game, has slipped back a few months. Columns is a new addition, as is the somewhat dodgy Sega Decathlete.
We’ll bring you updates on western releases of all Sega games as soon as possible.
