There are now several reports doing the rounds on the ever-enthralling Internet that point to a remake of the fantastically popular Battlefield 1942 for Nintendo’s GameCube.
The interest came from a promotional video shown by Nintendo at a press conference before last week’s GC2003 . According to reports, the promotional video shown before the main presentation showed a snippet of Battlefield 1942, complete with caption announcing that game.
As to whether this was a slip-up or not remains to be seen, though today all parties are tight-lipped, as may be expected.
