Reports hitting various Japanese Sega sites overnight point towards yet another Sega information leak, and seemingly reveal the release plans for the key development studio.

The schedule doing the rounds at present reads as follows:

Rent-A-Hero No. 1, Xbox Japan - August 7
Virtua Fighter 4: Evolution, PS2 North America - August 12
The King of Route 66, PS2 Europe - September
Space Harrier, PS2 Japan - September
Rent-A-Hero No. 1, Xbox North America - Summer 2003 TBA
Virtua Fighter Quest GC Japan - Fall 2003 TBA
Outrun 2 Chihiro, Arcade Japan - TBA 2003
Monaco GP, PS2 Japan - TBA 2003
Shenmue II, Xbox Asia - TBA 2003

As to whether this is correct, we’re awaiting clarification, though talk has been building of a major announcement from AM2 over the past few days, following their newsletter stating that, well, a major game announcement will be made soon.

It’s also worth mentioning that Virtua Fighter Quest, the balloon-headed VF RPG is yet to receive a final title and that Space Harrier is not the elusive Planet Harrier, merely the SEGA AGES remake.

We’ll bring you confirmation of anything proving correct as we get it.
