Although Microsoft still haven't announced a first party light gun for the Xbox, E3 showed off one new blaster to appease those sofa-bound marksmen armed with third-party peripherals. The first game in the sights is Silent Scope Complete, which will be shooting from a rooftop near you sometime in November. For some peculiar reason, none of the previous console versions of Silent scope have been light-gun compatible - it was largely the big plastic sniper rifle that made the Silent Scope arcade machine so darn cool. This time round, the Xbox version will require all your eagle-eyed steady-handedness to rack up the assassinations.

Featuring all three Silent Scope games in full, this complete package seems like exceptionally good value. That amounts to nearly 60 different sniping levels, all with the option of two-player co-operative and versus modes. With what seems to be a solid reconstruction of the classic arcade games, it looks like Konami might just hit the spot.
