Ubi Soft's XIII will follow the plot of the French graphic novel upon which it's based. You control a highly trained special-ops soldier who has just woken up in a confused state of amnesia. In the hope of working out what it is you were supposed to be doing, you'll have to start shooting people. We can only assume that's a standard investigative technique in the unlikely event of memory-loss.
Just like the original comic, XIII won't shy away from a bit of the old ultra-violence. Rocket-launchers, ashtrays, chairs… if it hurts, then use it. With the promise of an online mode, and the brilliantly stylised graphics, the much-anticipated XIII is looking very nice indeed.
