Exclusive: Sega to show extensive MegaDrive portfolio at E3
We can reveal that Sega of Japan is preparing what has been described as an “extensive showcase” of MegaDrive remakes at next month’s E3, with the company finally realising its IP-led dreams.

“You’ll be surprised at what will be shown,” one insider told us. “The sheer volume of Mega Drive gaming on offer will come as a great surprise to many. And it’s not just a load of GBA ports. I think I’m right in saying that almost every platform will get the 16-Bit treatment.”

There is also talk at the moment, which we must stress is mere hearsay, that Xbox Live will get some kind of retro-inspired Sega treatment, though currently our spies cannot obtain exact details.

Feel the excitement!

We will, of course, bring you the world’s best Sega news, as it breaks.
