SquareSoft Japan today confirmed that the GameCube-exclusive action RPG Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles will be on public show at this year’s E3, due to take place next month in Los Angeles.
The firm’s press officer said, “We are pleased to confirm that Crystal Chronicles will be on our stand at E3 this year and will be playable.” It was not mentioned what language the code will be in.
In related news, we have heard from senior Nintendo sources that Crystal Chronicles is receiving Zelda-style rationalisation, with the English aspect of the development running in tandem with the main coding, thus ensuring a rapid release in the US.
As to when Square and Nintendo will bring the European version to market remains to be seen, though it is expected that a PAL Australian version will hit the UK.
