Microsoft has released a revised version of DirectX 9.0, thrillingly entitled DirectX 9.0a, which fixes several niggles gamers had with the initial release.

Specifically, messaging issues have been resolved, as well as certain peer-to-peer multiplayer problems encountered of late.
