Strong showing casts doubt over SCEE E3 non-attendance gossip
Sony Europe shows builds of Hardware and Destruction Derby Online.
Over the past week or so, the games industry rumour mill has been working overtime, claiming that Sony Computer Entertainment Europe will not be showing any titles at this year’s E3, due to take place in Los Angeles in May.
This looks unlikely however, after a strong showing of two games made in the UK yesterday, namely Destruction Derby Online, developed in Liverpool, and Hardware, also online, developed in London.
Both games looked strong, even at this stage, and networked together flawlessly without crashing.
We consider the chances of these games’ omission at E3 very slim indeed, appealing as they undoubtedly will to American sensibilities.
