Nokia N-Gage to launch in May

Nokia has told the Wall Street Journal that it intends to release its N-Gage gaming phone into the UK in May of this year, scuppering suggestions that the firm's new consumer offering wouldn't be available until next year.

Hoping to take a bite out of Nintendo's 98% share of handheld gaming revenue, Nokia has already signed up software from the likes of Sega, with a Sonic remake expected in the coming months.
