Capcom of Japan has announced plans to turn it's Ghosts 'n' Goblins franchise into a massively multiplayer on-line role-playing game, to be released in Q1 of next year, at least in Japan.
What's more, the game will be cross-platform, linking PC, PlayStation 2, Xbox and GameCube into a Ghosts 'n' Goblins-themed expansive, and constantly upgraded 3D universe.
We'll let that sink in for a while...
What's more, other Capcom characters will make cameo appearances throughout the game, the first of which will be the inclusion of Vampire Saviour favourite Morrigan.
The game, to be called Ghosts 'n' Goblins Online in the West, should be seen in Europe by late next year, which we know is ages, but might prove sooner than Final Fantasy XI...
