Sonic Team boss and Sega demigod Yuji Naka, fresh from taking receipt of his latest Ferrari, has announced that a completely new game in the Sonic the Hedgehog series will be announced at this year's E3.
He said, "We're working on a new game called Phantasy Star Online: Card Battle, and several other projects. We plan to unveil the next instalment in the Sonic series at E3 this May, look forward to it!"
Now you should understand that this is a little unusual for Naka. He is reserved and understated not to mention astoundingly secretive, so he must be pretty excited about new Sonic, whatever it might be.
We'll let you know, straight from E3 in May, where we'll be getting our sweaty mitts on the new game, believed to be in development for all home consoles.
