Everybody's Golf Online ready to go

Truly what the Internet was made for

No, it's not pictures of girls, it's online Everybody's Golf, arguably the best and most enjoyable golfing series to have ever graced a gaming machine, let alone the humble PSOne.

Now the series has grown up, at home on the swanky-flash PlayStation 2, it's time to go online, in Japan at least. Sony Computer Entertainment Japan has begun its whopping beta-test this week, with 10,000 players signed up and participating in real-time matches.

According to reports, the game code is solid and Sony has penned the game in for a March release its home country, with an American launch expected before autumn, or fall as they would say. As of this moment, nothing is planned for Europe in terms of the game, or the release of the hard drive and broadband kit we covet so greatly. When there is, we'll let you know.
