Sony Online Entertainment (SOE) is steaming into 2003 with a bang stateside, as it prepares to release EverQuest Online Adventures for the first time on PS2.
This version of EverQuest serves as a faithful accompaniment to its PC-developed predecessors and will be released mid-February in the US for around $50. Monthly subscriptions will cost $9.99 per month and marks the second major venture into online gaming for PS2 behind Final Fantasy XI, which is still only available in Japan.
In the meantime, we Brits will have to sit tight a few more months until Europe finally gets a well-deserved network for online PS2 gaming.
