Nintendo of Japan has made the surprise announcement that F-Zero will be shown in playable form at next month’s World Hobby Fair in Japan, dismissing rumour that it wouldn’t be seen until late next year.
Co-developed between Sega’s Amusement Vision Studio and Nintendo, the GameCube version, fully titled F-Zero GC, will be shown to the public. Players will get the chance to play both two-player battle mode, as well as take part in several organised time attack challenges.
It is also believed that the TriForce arcade cabinet will be shown too!
The event takes place between 19th and 21st of January, so expect full coverage and impressions then.
