Following staggering levels of pre-release interest, Nintendo of Japan has today revealed that the GBA instalments of its super-popular Pokemon series have sold over two million copies over the weekend.
Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire, which share the similar and profitable relationship as seen with the Red and Blue/Gold and Silver releases, have proved simply irresistible to Japanese gamers, known for their love of RPG gaming and collect ‘em’ up action.
