In an ongoing bid to be seen as a major force in global media, Sega has signed a deal with the Jordan F1 racing team that will see Sega branding start to appear at Formula 1 race meetings.
Although this was initially planned to commence at last weekend’s Japanese Grand Prix, implementation problems delayed the launch.
This will mean that both Takuma Sato and Giancarlo Fisichella will carry Sega branding, as will their Jordan cars.
It is thought that Sega intends to forge some kind of relationship between the sport’s governing body as well as its drivers.
