Japanese gaming journal Enterbrain has released the first details from Capcom’s latest beat-em-up offering, and to everyone’s surprise it’s presented in 3D
As we reported several weeks ago, Capcom has been working away at a secret fighting game project for some time now and it would appear that this game, going by the tentative name of Capcom All-Stars, is that very project.
From what we can tell, the game features a selection of characters right through the Capcom ages. Those revealed at this point include Ryu, Chun Li, Final Fight’s Hagar, complete with 360/720 piledriver moves and Charlie.
Capcom fighting games have propped up the underground arcade scene for many years now, though the firm has always struggled to make the mainstream impact by the likes of Tekken and Virtua Fighter.
Perhaps this outing will change all that. Expect more on this game as it breaks.
