Nintendo warehouse cleaned out

Nintendo of Japan has suffered a major robbery at one of its warehousing units, we can reveal.

Thieves broke into the complex, situated in Osaka, through a second storey window in search of Game Cube and Game Boy Advance hardware and related games and peripherals.

The haul included 400 GameCube units and over 400 Game Boy Advance units, along with an unspecified amount of software.

According to reports, the thieves took an entire shipment that was headed for the Yashiro complex in Tokyo.

Nintendo stated that the total value of the stolen items is expected to exceed 23 million yen.
