Infogrames Europe, in conjunction with Sega Japan, has revealed the latest car models from Sega GT 2002, the upcoming chronicled racer.
Sega GT 2002 for the Xbox promises to deliver so much more than it did in previous guises. The original version, first shown at XO1 last year, has been scrapped. Sega, not content with merely producing a Gran Turismo clone, has opted to release a completely new racing game. The core of the game is a historical look at each car manufacturer included in the game.
A little known fact is that Sega scrapped the first build of Sega GT 2002 due to it being heavily bugged and not original enough for the company’s board.
