SquareSoft has announced that it will be shipping a mere 150,000-200,000 units of its massively-anticipated Final Fantasy XI to Japanese retail.
The move follows SCEJ’s concession that it has only managed to produce this number of Broadband adapters for the console.
For reference, the online exclusive title is released to an eager Japanese audience tomorrow, May 16.
Neither company speculated on how many units would be available in the second phase of shipping.
