Donotdo, the Paris developer behind Remember Me (which we rated highly), has apparently gone into receivership.

While the game reviewed well, it failed to sell to AAA games consumers. This was put down to the facts that either Capcom didn't push the game hard enough or that the audience for AAA titles at the time (2012) were simply not keen on original IP.

The company started in 2008 by by former Criterion boss Oskar Guilbert has a staff of about 100 people.

The rumour of receivership emanates from French language source Factornews. The story is apparently confirmed via French site Societe.

Great! More fuel for the "curse of the female star" myth.

Or it wasn't actually much of a game, regardless of what the media wanted us to believe.
