There are no less than 36 different endings for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, according to CD Projekt co-founder Marcin Iwinski.
Discussing whether player choices affect the Witcher
universe, Iwinski told IGN, "All the time, and I think this differentiates us from other games out there. We don't tell you what matters and what doesn't, as your actions in the game speak far louder than words. I mean, there are 36 different endings in Wild Hunt
Furthermore, he went on to say that, "We have an internal debate if it's 36 or more, but I can tell you that there are many, MANY different endings. You will definitely want to play this game more than once."
Iwinski also said that his studio is looking into the possibility of PC saves from previous games affecting Wild Hunt
in some way.
A playthrough, Iwinski said, will take 50 hours if you stick purely with the main story and 100 to 120 hours if you explore all the side quests.
As we reported earlier
, Iwinski also said that The Witcher 3 is pushing the limits of the PS4 and Xbox One.
