UK-based Eidos Interactive has put Lara Croft’s clothes up for sale, leaving the heroine running naked through the streets of London. Erm, that isn’t exactly true. Sorry.

But the good news is that Eidos has indeed decided to auction the original Lara Croft outfit, with all proceeds from the sale going to children’s charity UNICEF.

The costume includes Lara’s all-in-one rubber vest and hot pants, along with her twin Smith and Wesson replica pistols, and was originally donned by the delectable Nell McAndrew. All this comes with an official certificate of authenticity from Eidos.

You can bid away at the UK eBay site, and remember, it’s all for charidy, mate!

For those who simply have to know everything about what they’re bidding for, here is the, umm, skinny!

Outfit stats

  • The UK size 10 shorts were worn by Nell McAndrew over 40 times during the 1998 world tour

  • The all-in-one vest, UK size 12 (34DD), was donned by sprinkling talcum powder onto the skin and carefully moving the latex top very slowly over the body

  • The outfit was worn in Australia, New York and Los Angeles during the 1998 Tomb Raider tour

  • The all-in-one vest had to be sprayed with silicon before each appearance

  • The sunglasses were custom built by Cutler and Gross
