Sony Ceo to Reveal Future Of Company in January
Kaz Hirai to Come to the Plate at CES 2014
Sony CEO Kaz Hirai is to step back out into the light of the consumer stage in January in Las Vegas to outline the future of his company when he gives the keynote address to the 2014 International CES.
CES, which will run between January 7-10, 2014 in Las Vegas, Nevada and Hirai will speak at 8:30am local time on Tuesday, January 7 in The Venetian Hotel’s Palazzo Ballroom. By this time he will have sales figures available for the PS4 over the Holiday period.
According to show organisers, Mr Hirai will be, "bringing his unique perspective and insights about the latest innovations."
January 2014 is going to be critical in terms of judging if Hirai's new leadership has energised the company in the wake of Sir Howard Stringers attempts to be unify Sony's notoriously silo'd departments while also selling off assets to attempt to return to profit. So Hirai's speech will be keenly watched by analysts and investors and consumers alike.
